Tariffs are already feeding through to prices

June’s CPI release showed a clear surge in the price of tariff-exposed goods. Video equipment, window coverings, appliances, toys, sporting goods, tech, and tools all saw month-over-month price increases near the top end of their multi-decade ranges.

These categories are small enough for now that they have yet to feed through to overall inflation but that seems like only a matter of time…
